How do the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shops differ?
1st shop “OKINAWA SOBA EIBUN”
The very first EIBUN, filled with the owner's passion. Our main shop in Tsuboya.
2nd shop “STAND EIBUN”
A shop aiming to expand the possibilities and interpretation of Okinawa soba. It offers shop-exclusive items such as “curry soba” and “aasa (sea lettuce) soba.”
3rd shop “EIBUN tsuboya”
A stand-and-eat soba shop, rare for Okinawa soba and almost like an art gallery, taking the expanded interpretation we couldn't fully realize at the 2nd shop even further.
4th shop “EIBUN palette”
The first Okinawa soba shop designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates — a flagship shop aimed at customers from overseas, with vegan menu items and more.

Are children allowed?
Yes, children are welcome.
Guests aged 10 and over are asked to order one bowl each.

Is it okay to share a bowl of soba?
Sharing is allowed.

Can I take home soba that I've partly eaten?
For food-hygiene reasons, this is not permitted.

Can I make a reservation?
Only the 1st shop “OKINAWA SOBA EIBUN” accepts online reservations (TableCheck), for 11:00–16:00. Reservation slots up to 7 days ahead open every day at midnight. Reservations use a Fast Pass (a system that lets you enter on a priority basis without lining up).

A fee of ¥390 per person applies when a reservation is confirmed, and it is non-refundable, including in the event of cancellation.

Can I get in without a reservation?
The 1st shop “OKINAWA SOBA EIBUN” also seats same-day guests. The same-day line uses a sign-in sheet starting at 8:00 a.m.

For the 1st shop “OKINAWA SOBA EIBUN,” can I not make an online reservation (TableCheck) after 16:00?
At the 1st shop “OKINAWA SOBA EIBUN,” after 16:00 you can usually enter relatively smoothly even without a reservation. Opening hours are until 20:00 (last order 19:30).
Is the online reservation (TableCheck) fee at the 1st shop separate from the order?
Yes, it is a separate charge.

After a reservation is completed, we cannot accept changes to the number of people or the date and time for any reason (including flight cancellations, illness, etc.).

For no-show cancellations, the following cancellation fee applies.
· No-show: ¥1,000 per person
· If you will be more than 10 minutes late for your reservation time, we can accommodate you if you contact us by email or similar. When you arrive, please tell our staff that you were delayed (no cancellation fee applies).

How long do takeout products keep?
Refrigerated products keep for 7 days from the time they are packed.
Room-temperature products (“THIS IS OKINAWA SOBA”) keep for 1 year.

Can takeout products be frozen?
For refrigerated products, the soup, noodles, and meat can all be frozen.
If you freeze the products as soon as they arrive, you can enjoy them at their best for about 1 month.

How long can I carry takeout products with me?
As long as the soup and meat are frozen, they act as cooling packs, so you can carry them for 6–7 hours.
Can I bring the (frozen) takeout soup onto an airplane?
Yes, it can be brought on board (except on international flights).
Can takeout products purchased in-store be shipped?
Yes, they can be shipped. Normally, products ship 2–3 business days after your order.
Shipping may be delayed due to weather such as typhoons, or due to order volume.

If I order from the online shop, how long until the product arrives?
Because we prepare everything by hand, we currently prepare and ship orders in the order received.
On weekends and holidays, during couriers' busy seasons, over the year-end and New Year period, and in bad weather, delivery may be delayed due to delivery and traffic conditions.
Except for year-end soba orders, date specification is not available (time specification is available).
